Since rolling out the Jordan Luka 1 model earlier this year, Jordan Brand’s association with Mavericks player Luka Doncic has stunned the sneaker fraternity. The coveted duo have already released several new colorways of Luka’s first signature shoe throughout this year, including ‘Bred’, ‘Reverse Ocra’, ‘Habitat’, ‘Neo Turquoise’, and more.
In preparation for next year, this signature shoe will drop in the Next Nature “Light Orewood Brown” colorway with green and orange accents.
The next Next Nature “Light Orewood Brown” colorway of the Jordan Luka 1 silhouette is expected to hit the market next year. Early reports from a few sneaker insiders, namely Sole Retriever and Sneaker Files, suggest these pairs will arrive in March 2023.
Fans can enjoy them for $130 per pair after release. These pairs will be available for purchase on Nike’s online sites and a few other retail partners.
Luka Doncic’s Jordan Luka 1 will have Light Menta and Barely Green accents
The 2022-23 NBA season begins, and with it, fans will get to see just how well teams can perform. Luka Doncic, a truly exceptional player for the Mavericks, has been a familiar face for a while now. However, the new season marks his first game with his signature Jordan Brand shoe.
The recently introduced Jordan Luka 1 Next Nature “Light Orewood Brown” adds an eco-consciousness to the performance basketball model.
The advanced design of the Jordan Luka 1 shoe was presented as follows:
“The Luka 1 is designed for Luka Dončić’s deceptive, off-speed play, featuring a new IsoPlate system with full-length Formula 23 performance foam in the midsole. The shoe follows a long line of innovative performance systems from the Jordan brand, such as the Flight Plate in the Air Jordan XXVIII and the Eclipse Plate that debuted in the Air Jordan XXXIV.
The latest Jordan Luka 1 colorway will arrive in a Light Orewood Brown/Light Menta-Black-Barely Green color scheme.
The upper of the sneaker, which is predominantly beige in color, is made of a combination of recycled fabric, leather, and synthetic suede. It was originally designed for Luka’s dynamic game. The last of these three materials leaves its mark on the mudguard by surrounding the sole and upper edges and contouring the collar area.
The tongue flap is black with Luka’s logo in teal across the top, and leather walls make up the vamp and eyelets. These components are laced with a pair of tan timbral shoelaces. Exposed foam on the edge of the tongue offers a multi-color overhaul, while the sockliner and footbed, which are all covered in pinwheel Swooshes, are black and yellow, respectively.
Formula 23 foam provides extra comfort on the court, while the IsoPlate foot structure covers the lateral forefoot to help reinforce the foot. All of this is encased in two-tone light and white foam and rubber, with an orange-colored traction pattern on the outsole.
Keep an eye out for the Jordan Luka 1 Next Nature “Light Orewood Brown” which is slated to go on sale via Nike and a few other online and physical retailers in March 2023. Retail price for the sneakers, available in men’s sizes, is 130 $.
