The German sportswear titan is gearing up for another new colorway for their widely admired Adidas Ultra 4DFWD silhouette. For the latest release, Adidas has painted the shoe in autumnal olive green tones, dubbed the “Focus Olive” colorway. These pairs are adorned with metallic gold accents on top.
The next “Focus Olive” variant of the Adidas Ultra 4DFWD silhouette is set to enter the sneaker world on October 22, 2022, at 07:00 GMT. These undercarriages will be offered with a fixed price of $220 for each pair. One of the most radically different products in the brand’s extensive catalog combines an Ultraboost upper with a 3D printed Adidas 4D midsole called Ultra 4WFWD. More recently, this shoe has mixed a contemporary runner silhouette with autumnal olive green tones.
The complete shoe comes wrapped in a Focus Olive/Core Black/Orbit Green color scheme. The majority of the exterior is taken up by a redesigned sock-like fit of the PRIMEKNIT exterior in “Focus Olive” with color-matched laces. Black accents are used to ground the pattern and can be seen on the heel counter, tongue, and semi-transparent three-stripe lacing cage.
The shoe offers the named gold accent along the heel and tongue, while the bright soles emit “Orbit Green”.
The upper of these shoes is made from a high performance yarn that is at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic. This is recycled plastic waste recovered from the ocean. This ocean trash is gathered from offshore islands, beaches, coastal villages, and shorelines. In addition to Parley plastic, recycled polyester makes up the remaining 50% of the yarn for the upper.
