LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, September 20, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Non-profit organization Shoes That Fit is proud to announce a second-year nationwide partnership with GEICO that will provide more than 8,000 pairs of new athletic shoes to students in need. The initiative will span 16 more states washington d.c., where a total of 8,000 students will receive new athletic shoes through the partnership. More than 20 schools and organizations in the following states have begun receiving direct shipments of shoes to distribute to their students: Florida, Maryland, Hawaii, Texas, Iowa, Missouri, Virginia, Arizona, New York, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Indianaand Washington.

In addition, a special event took place in July, in washington d.c.in collaboration with GEICO and the National Urban League at distribute over 1,500 extra pairs of shoes on their annual community day.

Two other events will take place in the schools of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Oceanside, California in October during which Shoes That Fit will be on hand to help with distribution.
