At the end of 2019, Jordan Brand officially announced Luka Dončić as the newest member of its growing roster of athletes. At the time, Luka was just in his second season as an NBA pro, but with Rookie Of The Year material under his belt, the Slovenian guard had every promise of being a lasting force in the NBA. , and so far he has exceeded expectations as a player, leader and icon of the game.
While a signature shoe was pretty much expected as part of the endorsement deal, we can confirm that a number of colorways of the Jordan Luka 1 signature shoe are confirmed to release in 2022, with specific colorways and tentative release dates listed below. Based on the information shared with us, the Luka 1 may possibly have another name – the Sly Fox. However, it seems more than likely that Jordan Brand will stick to the simple name and number format due to Luka’s name recognition. While we don’t have any photos to share, we do know that full family sizes are confirmed for some of the colorways – most of which encompass the Mavs colors, base black/red combinations and a few other energetic styles.
